June-August, 2020...No Business or Evening Meetings During the Summer

During the months of June through August, TCFF suspends all business and evening meetings due to very low attendance.

However, we will still get together for our weekly casting and fishing out at Grand Oaks Resort every Friday from 7am-9am with optional brealfast after fishing. Just show up! Russ will continue to put out his Weekly Fishing Planner of locations of where Club members will be fishing for any given week, so look for those emails through out the summer. Monthly fishing reports will continue to be posted on our websiite as well. Lastly, the TCFF Fly Tying Group will continue to meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at Grand Oaks Resort, Brewster Room as well.

We will resume our Business Meetings on September 2, 2020 and our Evening presentations on September 16, 2020. Enjoy the summer and we'll see you all in September!

April 6, 2020... TCFF Fly Tying Group...2pm-4pm...Brewster Room

PLEASE NOTE THE ROOM CHANGE FROM HERE TO THE REST OF THE YEAR UNLESS NOTIFIED OF CHANGE

This is a monthly informal social gathering focused on those within Tri-County Fly Fishers that are fly tying enthusiasts of some level to meet up, learn, help one another, tie together, maybe do a monthly pattern swap, and on occasion maybe have a guest tier. Although this is not necessarily an instruction class, there will still be plenty of learning from each other. This is a meeting of the minds: an excuse to get out of the house, get behind the vise, have some fun and hang out and tie with fellow tiers.

If you’ve got an upcoming freshwater or saltwater trip and some patterns you want to crank out…great! If you’ve never even held a bobbin in your hand and want to sit and watch how it all goes down…awesome!

Bottom line, we’ll be there. Come and join us. Make sure to BYO tools, materials, snacks, drink (no alcoholic beverages please). Equipment and materials will not be provided but we may be able to accommodate a few items and vices if necessary.

Hope to see you there!

Louisiana Redfish on The Fly

These are the pictures of Larry Nazzaro's presentation October 15th on the trip he, his two sons, and Mike Winter made in September. This is a fantastic power point presentation but I am sure it was even better in person. Thank you Larry!!
