In keeping with its founding purposes the club supports many community related activities. The club is involved and offers interested youth groups an introduction to fly-fishing and fly tying as well.
We continue to prepare for the eventual resumption of our Fly-Fishing Merit Badge instruction program with the Scouting Units of our area.

The Club is a supporter of the Shefiff's Office Annual Bass Tournament/Fish n' Fun Day in February
The Club is proud to be partnering with the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch in Inglis, FL. We will be volunteering our time for 5 days during a 10 week period during the summer with the kids ages 10-15 and teaching them fly tying and casting at the Ranch.
The club supports Combat Veterans to Careers whose mission is to Provide 360 Degrees Of Support and Opportunities and to Enhance The Quality of Life for our Combat Veterans and Their Families.
The club is proud to support Project Healing Waters Fly-fishing (PHWFF) which began in 2005 serving wounded military service members at Walter Reed Army Medical Center re-turning from combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Since then, PHWFF has expanded nationwide, establishing its highly successful program in Department of Defense hospitals, Warrior Transi-tion Units, and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and clinics. Participants ranging from beginners who have never fished before, to those with prior fly-fishing and tying experience are adapting their skills to their new abilities.
